KINGFISH

Kingfish are also known as yellowtail and grow to world record size here in New Zealand.

They can grow up to 2 meters in length and exceed 60kg in weight, and are often referred to as "kings" or "kingies".

Anglers often regards Kingfish as pound for pound one of the hardest fighting fish in the ocean.

A good place to find kingfish is around pinnacles or deep reefsunder the water, but anywhere where bait is present is bound to holdKingfish. They can be caught on live or dead baits, a large varietymetal jigs and soft plastic lures.
